Connecting Learners is a WULF project organised by UNISON, funded by the Welsh Government and hosted by Cartrefi Cymru.
Cartrefi Cymru is the largest not-for-profit organisation that supports people in Wales to enjoy fulfilling lives as part of their communities.
Since our establishment in 1989 we have developed expertise at supporting people with a range of needs and disabilities to live successfully in the community.
Working in partnership with Local Authorities and Housing Associations, the company employs 1100 staff working in over 100 teams from 12 offices.
Union-led Learning is a key part of the Welsh Government's 'Programme for Government'.
During the lifetime of WULF, there have been many innovative and imaginative projects, ranging from learning centres in workplaces to delivering language learning to migrant workers in Wales.
To date WULF has assisted 166 projects with nearly £13m provided by the Welsh Government.
UNISON is the biggest union in Cymru/Wales, with more than 100,000 members across the region.
Our members are people working in public services or for private contractors providing public services and essential utilities.
They include frontline staff and managers working full- or part-time in local authorities, the NHS, colleges and schools, universities, the electricity, gas and water industries, police services, transport and in the voluntary sector.
Connecting Learners is about giving you learning opportunities within the workplace.
